The Mission of the Twelve (Luke 9:1-6)

I recall Fr. Chris Soh's homily one weekday years ago about how for most people, life is like climbing a mountain. We strive hard through life to climb as high as we can till we reach a certain age when it all becomes downhill.

The way of Jesus is the opposite - of descending into a valley before climbing up. There is great value in such a descend!
