A Hopeful Mess
Workshop Description:
A Hopeful Mess is an inclusive Advent art session designed for children with special needs and their families, including siblings. The afternoon begins with a simple collaborative activity for parents and children, followed by a guided art project for the kids supported by our facilitator and volunteers.
While the children create, parents will be invited into a quiet time of reflection and enjoy a peaceful environment around Montfort Centre — a gentle space to breathe, slow down, and make room for God in the midst of December’s busyness.
We will end the afternoon by gathering again as a family for a simple closing moment, appreciating the small insights gleaned throughout the session.
