Workshop Description:
This workshop invites parent-child participants (at least 1 parent is paired with each child) to explore how we can create sacred, inclusive, and meaningful prayer spaces for individuals with autism. Rooted in the truth that each person is a temple of the living God, we recognise that God desires to dwell within every individual and to meet them personally — in ways that are unique to their experiences and abilities.
The workshop will guide participants through thoughtful approaches to designing prayer environments that are adaptive, sensory-friendly, and spiritually enriching. By offering a variety of prayer expressions — whether through visuals, music, nature, silence, or movement — we acknowledge that each person's way of encountering God is beautifully distinct.
