About The Event
Companions-in-community is an intentional way of accompanying one another through alternating periods of speech and silence. Silence nurtures our desire to return to the source of willingness and openness to God. It provides a space so that we may offer words that emerge from meditation and prayer. This rhythm of speech and silence slows the pace of our interaction which allows us to listen, recognize and receive the non-verbal expression of our communion with God, ourselves and one another.
If you are someone who is currently on a career break or taking a long term leave (e.g. maternity, sick leave, sabbatical leaves), join us on 30 September 2025 at 9.30am-12.30pm.
