Have you ever thought why you have that name? Is it that my name is only arbitrary and does not mean anything? For whatever reason my name came to be, it has a significant influence on who I am. It needs me only to unravel it to discover what it stands for in my life.
Name bears a great significance in the Bible, wherein name takes on a very important role to reveal the person’s identity, character, destiny, and purpose in life. In the Christmas season we often hear it read, His Name shall be called “Emmanuel”, which means “God with us.” During this session we will reflect upon our name as to how they came about and the meaning behind the name and how it influences the life and calling for each one of us.
