Painting Easter Lily as Prayer
The Art of Letting Go
What in your life is being shaped by what God is removing? We invite you to a unique afternoon of contemplative art and prayer, where we transition from the "tombs" of our past into the hope of the resurrection.
Using a beautiful negative painting watercolor technique, we will create a white lily silhouette by layering dark, prayerful washes around it. This process serves as a powerful metaphor for our faith: often, it is through the shadows and the "dying to self" (John 12:24) that our true identity in Christ is most purely revealed. Through guided journaling, Scripture meditation, and artistic expression, you will learn to surrender the old to make space for the new.
No prior artistic skill is required—just a desire for renewal.
