Message from Bro. John Albert
353rd Birthday of St. Louis Marie de Montfort
LEW 64 - Wisdom exists for each of us; and each one of us exists for Wisdom.
"The incredible bond of friendship between Wisdom and human beings."
Greetings of Peace and Joy to all of you.
In reference to the above quote from St. Louis Marie de Montfort’s Writing - Love of Eternal Wisdom (LEW64).
Montfort Affirms: “There exists incredible bond of friendship be Wisdom (Jesus) and Human Beings.”
Two Points to Reflect
1st Point: God's Call
It must be God who reveals himself to us. It is he who must come to meet our fragility, our instinctive fear, our pride. We cannot love what we do not know. How can our limited intelligence grasp the unlimited? It is therefore up to him, the Infinite, the Unknowable, to take the initiative in revealing himself. And he often does so through a discreet "touch" of love, of gentleness, which leaves in the individual a bliss, a thirst to love and to know. In this way, the Most Distant makes us understand that he is not what we think; that he is madly in love with us; that his love is freely given and totally unconditional. These "touches," called "touches," are harmless. They speak directly to the heart, for faith is a matter of the heart. They urge us to accept the reality of a Love that awaits us and longs for us to respond to its desire to open a dialogue with us. A dialogue that opens onto a free and loving relationship. Why does it insist? Because it knows that we will never be truly happy without it. For it is Happiness itself!
2nd Point: The Human Response
A person touched by God cannot expect a life of tranquility. They will live in tension between conditionality and unconditionality; between human logic and divine logic; between their humanity and divinity. They will experience great joys and inevitably face setbacks, grief, and the trials necessary for spiritual growth. Ecclesiasticus warns us: “My son, if you claim to serve the Lord, prepare yourself for trials.” It is not impossible that Love will encounter resistance from us, but “as clay in the potter’s hand, who shapes it according to his pleasure, so are people in the hand of their Creator.”
I pray that we as Montfortian be mindful of the “Bond of Friendship between Jesus and Us”. We are not alone but we are in the embrace of God – Wisdom.
As we celebrate the 353rd Birthday of Our Founder Montfort, my hope is that each one of you be protected from all harm and danger. That each of you grow stronger in experiencing Jesus Presence in your Self. And become wonderful person with knowledge and skills. Always be ready to struggle and come out successful or excellent in your endeavor’s.
Shalom!
